2. Pantai Bandengan, Pantai Kartini and Pantai Teluk Awur
Beaches are the most sought-after tourism spot for families. In Jepara, there are numerous spectacular beaches such as Pantai Bandengan, Pantai Kartini and Pantai Teluk Awur. PantaiKartini offers children’s playground, docks and tortoise aquarium. Pantai Bandengan is well known for its regular motocross competition and kite festival. Pantai Teluk Awur has its crystal clear water which makes it ideal for swimming.

3. Panjang isle
Panjang isle is surrounded by shallow water, which is ideal for coral reef to grow. The water in south side has no current, which makes it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and canoeing. This 19ha isle can be accessed through Pantai Kartini. Strolling around the isle is another interesting activity tourist mostly do.

4. Songgolangit Waterfall
This waterfall is located in Bucu Village, Kembang District, 30 km north from town hall. This waterfall is called “songgolangit” (meaning holding the sky) due to its height, reaching 80m and width 2m. Under the waterfall is a reservoir up to 3m, fit for swimming. Fresh air and beautiful scenery makes this place another popular tourism destination. This place also boasts its butterflies. According to local legend, this waterfall has its so-called guardian, a husband and wife that protect this waterfall. Also according to local legend taking a bath using this waterfall’s reservoir can grants youth.

1. R.A. Kartini Museum
This museum is located in town hall, which makes it a regular tourism spot. This museum holds numerous relics left behind by R.A. Kartini herself. This place also holds family portrait, and historical object dating back to 7th century, an era ruled by Queen Shima, ruler of Kalingga Kingdom. In addition, there is also a 6tonnes fish skeleton called “JokoTuo”, which is 16m long and 2m wide. It was discovered in 1989 in Karimunjawa national park.
2. Portuguese fort
Portuguese fort is a preserved cultural heritage located in Banyuamis village, Donorojo district. In its day, this fort controls sea-faring route from jepara to eastern part of Indonesia.
3. Hian Thian Siang Tee Shrine
HianThian Siang Tee Shrine is located in central Jepara, Welahan village. This village is famous as Chinese cultural heritage, which is two large shrines. This shrine receive its name from Chinese doctor, Tan Siang Hoe and Tan Siang Djie
